What are You First Reward Points?

You First Reward Points Program is the Client Account loyalty program provided by You First Pty Ltd (You First *) in Victoria, Australia.

How do I get Membership of the You First Reward Points Program?

Clients who are registered to use You First Services are also registered as members of the You First Reward Points Program. Membership of You First Reward Points Program is free.

Do I have to have a Membership?

To benefit from You First Reward Points you must also have a You First Reward Points Membership Account. You may ask us to terminate your Membership at any time and for any reason by sending us an email with your name and the termination date to info@youfirstservices.com.au. Any unused You First Reward Points that have been allocated to your You First Reward Points Membership Account at midnight on that date will be void.

 

How are You First Reward Points allocated?

You First Reward Points are allocated for each hour, for hourly rate shifts, and for each shift, for single rate shifts, your registered You First Support Worker works and submits a valid time sheet to You First. You will not be allocated You First Reward Points if your You First Support Worker works for another Service Provider even if they are registered to also work with You First. You First Support Workers are only able to work for up to 40 hours a week (38 hours ordinary hours and 2 hours overtime). Where a You First Support Worker works with the same Client and the Client has agreed with You First and the Support Worker to work hours in addition to those 40 hours, You First Reward Points are not allocated on any hours in excess of 40 hours in a week. Where a You First Support Worker works in excess of 40 hours a week for one Client, the Client will not be allocated You First Reward Points on the hours that are in excess of 40 hours that week. You First Reward Points are not allocated on other You First Services or Supports (e.g., Support Coordination or Travel Hours or KMs).

 

Can I only use You First Services if I want to be allocated You First Reward Points?

You First believes in choice and control for our Clients and does not have any restrictions on Clients using other Service Providers for some of their Services whenever they wish. However, you will only be allocated You First Reward Points when you use You First Services and your Support Worker submits a valid time sheet to You First.

How many You First Reward Points do I get?

You First Reward Points will be allocated at the following rates from midnight on 1 July 2019:

 

Hourly Rate Shifts

  • Weekday/Evening/Night – 1.5 You First Reward Points per hour

  • Saturday/Sunday/Public Holidays – 3 You First Reward Points per hour

 

Single Rate Shifts

  • Sleepover – 15 You First Reward Points per shift

  • 24 Hour – 50 You First Reward Points per shift

 

What is the value of my You First Reward Points?

  • 1 You First Reward Point = AUD $1.00

 

Why have You First Reward Points changed, and will I receive less?

In the first few months of operating You First trialled 100 You First Reward Points = AUD$1.00. Client feedback has been that this is confusing, so we have simplified it. The value of You First Reward Points that you can be allocated each hour or shift has not changed. For example:

  • Before 1 July 2019 - Weekday 1 Hour = 150 You First Reward Points = AUD$1.50

  • After 1 July 2019 - Weekday 1 Hour = 1.5 You First Reward Points = AUD$1.50

 

How can I redeem my You First Reward Points?

You can redeem your You First Reward Points by uploading a copy of a tax receipt (a tax receipt has an ABN number on it) to https://www.youfirstservices.com.au/reward-points-redemption.Where the tax receipt has the purchasers name, the name must be the You First Client’s name or the name of the You First registered Client Representative who has purchased the goods or services on the Client’s behalf. Reimbursements are only made via Electronic Funds Transfer into a bank account held in the Client's name or into the bank account of a You First registered Client Representative.

When can I redeem my You First Reward Points?

You can redeem You First Reward Points as soon as they have been allocated and you have received your most recent statement up until the time they expire.

What can I redeem my You First Reward Points on?

At You First we know how those additional incidental expenses can mount up for our Clients which is why we created You First Reward Points. You can request redemption of You First Reward Points on most standard items you have purchased (i.e., you have paid the money for them and received a tax receipt). The following items are excluded and requests to redeem You First Reward Points against receipts for these categories, items or any directly or indirectly related unethical, immoral, unregulated or illegal items (as defined by a standard and common sense definition) will be automatically refused including, but not limited to:

  • Alcohol including spirits, beer, wine and alcohol pops and any alcohol related products

  • Tobacco, smoking, eCigarettes, Vaping, or any related products, equipment, goods or substances

  • Gambling (all definitions) including slot machines, lottery tickets, scratch cards, competition entries, prize draws or any other related products, services, offers or competitions

  • Illicit, banned or regulated drugs, medications, chemicals or substances except where medication has been issued under a licensed prescription by a qualified medical doctor.

  • Adult or sex industry worker products or services and any related products or services

  • Weapons, firearms or other related products or services that can harm

  • Loans, payday loans, laybys, credit, car loans, credit cards, mortgages, insurance, shares, equity, investment or any other type of financial product (e.g., investment, savings, insurances, credit or loan)

  • Cash, cheques or money orders or transfers domestically or overseas

  • Gift cards, egift cards and itunes vouchers

You First reserves the right to refuse to redeem any You First Reward Points or You First Reward Dollars for any reason. You First is not required to provide a reason as to why a request to redeem You First Reward Points has been refused or declined.

Is there a maximum number of You First Reward Points I can have on my You First Reward Points Account or a maximum number of You First Reward Points I can request to be redeemed at any one time or in a calendar month?

Yes, from 1 July 2019 the maximum number of You First Reward Points that may be held on an account at any one time is 9,999. In the event a You First Reward Point Member were to reach 9,999, the balance would be capped and no more You First Reward Points allocated to the You First Reward Points Member Account until the balance had reduced below 9,999 You First Reward Points. Likewise, the maximum number of You First Reward Points you can request redeemed as a single transaction or in a calendar month is 9,999 You First Reward Points.

Do my You First Reward Points expire?

Yes, You First Reward Points expire at midnight, one month after the end of the financial year the You First Reward Points were issued. For example, You First Reward Points issued in June will expire at midnight on 31st July. The expiry date has been extended for You First Reward Points issued in the financial year 2019 (before midnight 30 June 2019), the expiry date for 2019 You First Reward Points is midnight 30 September 2019.

How do I know my You First Reward Points Account balance?

You will be sent a You First Reward Points statement on a weekly basis showing you the balance of your You First Reward Points Account.

 

Can I share my You First Reward Points with someone else?

No, You First Reward Points are issued to You First Clients and can only be used by You First Clients, or your You First registered Client Representative.

Do I have to use my You First Reward Points?

It is your choice if you wish to redeem the You First Reward Points that are allocated to your You First Reward Points Account. You First owns You First Reward Points until such time we approve a request to redeem them, or they expire, whichever is the sooner. You must use up your You First Reward Points that are the oldest (i.e., allocated the furthest back in time) first.

 

Why has my You First Reward Points Account been suspended?

You First Reward Points are suspended where a You First Client has not used You First Services for more than 90 days or where You First has not received payment for outstanding invoices which were issued more than 21 days ago for You First Services. You First reserves the right to suspend or cancel a You First Reward Points Membership or Account at any time and without reason.

Can these T&C be changed or terminated?

Yes, You First reserve the right to change or terminate these Terms & Conditions at any time.

You First’s rights & liability in respect of the You First Reward Points Program?

You First may refuse to allow you to be a Member of the You First Reward Points Program for any reason. You First may specify or include any exclusions or conditions for allocating You First Reward Points and we may change this from time to time, including during the financial year that You First Reward Points are allocated or the period that You First Reward Points can be redeemed. You First may reduce or cancel any You First Reward Points, or terminate your You First Reward Points Account if we believe there are reasonable grounds to do so, where types of shift hours have changed and your allocation has reduced, where you have received You First Reward Points by misuse or fraudulent use, or attempted to misuse or fraudulently use You First Services, where you are not compliant with these Terms & Conditions or where you have been allocated You First Reward Points in error, including where the allocation or deduction mistake was made by You First. You First reserve the right to monitor your allocation and usage and we reserve the right at any time and without notice to withdraw, cancel or decline to allocate You First Reward Points or redeem You First Reward Points. You understand, acknowledge & agree that there may be delays in issuing you with, or the non-issue to you of any or all of the following:

  • You First Reward Points Account Membership Number

  • You First Reward Points Allocations

  • You First Reward Points Statements

  • You First Reward Points Redemption Payments, with or without the provision of receipts

And that You First may have made or may make:

  • Errors or omissions in any of the above, including the Terms & Conditions

  • Decisions to suspend or terminate the You First Reward Points Program, at any time, with or without notice

To the maximum extent permitted by law (and provided that nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law), we will not be liable to you in any way for any cause in connection with such matters, including for any unused You First Reward Points balance in your You First Reward Points Account at the time of suspension or termination. Provided that nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, any liability we may have to you in negligence, breach of contract or otherwise, and all conditions and warranties, whether express or implied by statute, are excluded to the maximum extent permitted by law. Where liability cannot be excluded (such as where the Australian Consumer Law applies), our liability to you will in all cases be limited to reinstating the number of You First Reward Points that are in dispute.

 

Acceptance of these Terms & Conditions

By submitting a receipt to redeem your You First Reward Points you are agreeing that these Terms & Conditions will apply to you in respect of the You First Reward Points Program.
